Three Jewels User Agreement:
Content of the Site: (a) Three Jewels attempts to keep the content of the Site up to date. However, Three Jewels does not warrant the accuracy or currency of the content. (b) You acknowledge that the content on the Site is liable to change at any time. (c) Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on the Site are inclusive of taxes and are shown in Australian dollars. (d) The prices displayed on the Site may change at any time. (e) Items promoted on the Site are subject to availability and may change from time to time. (f) You acknowledge that the colours and appearance of the items that are delivered to you may vary slightly from the colours displayed by your computer monitor.

Orders: (a) An order placed by you on the Site for an item is only an offer by you to purchase an item for the price as displayed on the Site. Three Jewels reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason whatsoever. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the unavailability of an item or an error or change in the price displayed on the Site. (b) Your contract with Three Jewels will only come into existence when Three Jewels advises you by email that it has accepted your order and confirmed receipt of your payment. (c) Three Jewels does not guarantee that it will be able to make any changes, additions or cancellations to an order after it has accepted your order and it has confirmed receipt of your payment by email. However if an order has not been processed for delivery, change, additions or cancellations may still be possible. Three Jewels will confirm that a request for a change, addition or cancellation has been met by sending you an email. (d) If an item you have ordered is temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted by email and informed of the expected delivery date. You will not incur any fee for this process. (e) If an item you have ordered is sold out or has been discontinued after you have placed your order, you will be contacted by email and informed.

Processing and delivering Orders: (a) Orders made through the Site are processed within 48 hours. A processing time of 1-2 business days applies to all orders made within Australia. (b) Orders are only delivered to your nominated address Monday to Friday between business hours. (c) Three Jewels cannot arrange for orders placed through the Site to be picked up from any location. All orders will be sent to the mailing address you provide to Paypal when you place an order through the Site. (d) All orders for delivery within Australia are sent with Australia Post. Delivery within Australia generally takes 1-3 days after processing. (e) (f) If you have not received your order within the days specified please contact us at info@threejewels.com.au

Payment and security: Three Jewels currently accepts payments only made through Paypal. For more information on Paypal and its policies see http://www.paypal.com

Intellectual Property (a) Copyright in the Site (including text, graphics, logos, icons, sound recordings and software) is owned or licensed by Three Jewels. Other than for the purposes of, and subject to the conditions prescribed under the Copyright Act 1968 (Australia) or similar legislation which applies in your location, you may not in any form or by any means: (i) adapt, reproduce, store, distribute, print, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of the Site; or (ii) commercialise any information or items obtained from any part of the Site; without Three Jewels’ written permission. (b) The trade marks used on the Site are owned by Three Jewels. You must not copy or use those trade marks, unless expressly authorised in writing by Three Jewels.

Disclaimer of Liability: (a) Three Jewels does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage, however caused (including through negligence), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with your use of the Site or any linked website, or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of items supplied pursuant to an order placed on the Site. Three Jewels does not accept any responsibility for any such loss arising out of your use of, or reliance on, information contained on or accessed through the Site. (b) With regards to any loss or damage which may be suffered by you in connection with the purchase and use of any items supplied via the Site, Three Jewels, at its sole discretion, limits its liability to the extent permitted by law, and is fair and reasonable for Three Jewels to do so, to either repairing or replacing those items or paying the cost of having those items repaired or replaced.

In order to process and complete your orders online, Three Jewels will have access to some personal information as provided by yourself to Paypal.

Return and Exchange Policy
Three Jewels suggests you choose carefully when purchasing products. No refunds or exchange on items will be granted, unless they are deemed faulty, in which case, our Quality Control Department will inspect the item and make a decision on the appropriate course of action. This decision is final.

Shipping

Australia
Three Jewels uses Australia Post for all deliveries within Australia. Registered Post is used to ensure your precious jewels and gifts are delivered safe and secure. Your package will be delivered to your door. If you are not home to receive the package, it will be left at your local Post Office for you to pick up. Your package will be sent within 48 hours of your purchase. If, for any reason, there are any hold ups associated with the delivery of your package, we will let you know ahead of time. Please be aware that shipping can take 3 - 7 business days from the date of purchase.

For all deliveries within Australia, an additional $5 will be added for postage and handling.

If you would like to have your purchase Express Posted instead, please contact  info@threejewels.com.au

International
Australia Post delivers Internationally, and in most cases you will get your package delivered in 10 - 14 days. All International orders are shipped Standard Air Mail. The cost for this service is $25, and includes delivery to all International destinations. You can organize Express Postage by contacting info@threejewels.com.au

Please note that you may be liable for import duties and/or customs excise on your order and you are responsible for payment of these when the order enters your country

All Three Jewels products come with a gift card that contains a special message. This message can be added to with your own personal message if you are giving one of our jewels as a gift. Each necklace and gift card is wrapped in re-sealable clear bag so that you can see your jewels. All packaging details are noted on each product description page.

Caring for your Jewels

How do I care for my Three Jewels Jewellery?

Keep your jewellery precious!
You can protect your jewellery from scratches, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and sunlight, by following a few simple suggestions.
- After each wearing, gently wipe each piece of jewelry clean of make-up and skin oils with a 100% cotton cloth.
- Store jewelry separately so it doesn't scratch other jewelry.
-Remove jewelry when doing household tasks such as gardening, cleaning, household repairs or other strenuous activities.
-Apply creams, make-up and hair spray before putting on your jewelry. Creams, Make-up and hair spray contain chemicals that may affect your jewelry.
-Do not store jewelry next to heating vents, window stills, or in the car.
-Store jewellery away from the sunlight.
-Do not wear jewelry while in a pool, hot tub, or bathing. The chlorine in the water can damage various metals including gold
-Frequent cleaning is recommended to maintain its true beauty. Salt water, chlorine in swimming pools, soap, perfumes, personal products and perspiration take their toll on all fine jewelry. Wipe your jewelry carefully with a soft cloth to keep it clean and enjoy!

How do I keep my Three Jewels Jewellery sparkling?
Keep your jewels precious!
- If using commercial silver/gold cleaners - read the label, and if in doubt, do not use a chemical cleaner.
- -Jewelry polishing cloth or sunshine - use lightly to restore luster. Do not press hard when polishing gold filled or plated jewelry or you will damage the surface.
- Easy homemade solution - the best way to clean in places where a polishing cloth can't reach is simple. First take a small bowl that holds a quarter of water and line it with aluminum foil. Then add, hot water, a tablespoon of baking soda and stir. Place jewelry in the solution for about one minute, rinse clean and let air dry. If you have a build up of dirt in hard to reach places, just put dishwashing liquid in a bowl of water and soak overnight.

Why is my silver jewellery tarnishing?
Tarnishing is a normal process caused by oxidization and moisture from air and even sunshine. If you store your sterling silver jewelry in open air, you expose it to air and humidity, which can both cause it to tarnish. To reduce tarnishing, we recommend you keep all of your sterling silver jewelry in an air-tight protective bag made from tarnish proof cloth or use a reseal able plastic bag (you can use the one it came in)

What is oxidization?
Oxidization is the unique process where silver or gold is dipped in a liquid solution that darkens the color of the metal giving it a less "sparkly" finish. It gives off a vintage, antique feel.

How do I care for my oxidized jewellery?
*Do not use any tarnish-remover products
*Do not use jewelry brushes or polishing cloths
*Do not expose to hot water
*To clean: use a soft cloth, wipe your jewelry with mild soap and lukewarm water
• These tips will keep your jewelry looking fresh and, oxidized!

Caring for your gemstones

All of our Semi-precious Gemstones are handpicked, ensuring only the best stones make it into our jewellery. All Gemstones used are natural, meaning that they are in their natural state and have been polished and cut to shape. Caring for your gemstones is generally quite easy. As they are a semi-precious stone, care should be taken to avoid scratching the surface of the stone and keeping the stone clean.

Cleaning gemstones
The best single piece of advise we can give you is to wipe your precious stone jewellery with a clean, soft damp cloth after wearing. This will ensure that your jewellery is always looking its best.

Storing Gemstones
When your gemstone jewellery is not being worn, storage in a soft pouch is recommended.

Avoid harsh chemicals
There are some things to avoid. Salt water and harsh chemicals such as chlorine bleach or detergents can damage your jewellery. The chemicals erode the finish and polish of the gems leaving them dull. Hairspray, perfume and perspiration can also cause dullness if not regularly wiped clean.
